Roads are in Awesome Shape?

This time of year, I tend to spend quite a bit of time on the cross bike.  As soon as snow dissipates from the roads, the fat bike starts to get a bit of rest and the Surly Cross Check comes out.  You see I don't really get much of a kick out of putting miles upon miles riding along the shoulders of the many busy highways that dissect our county.  Luckily for me, Bonner County has hundreds of miles of paved secondary roads and even more miles of less traveled dirt/gravel roads...my preference.

I grew up here in Sandpoint, so I know a thing or two about the roads and trails.  I like riding the back roads through the farm land, looking at the old buildings and ways of life and taking in the peace and quiet.  This is how I keep my sanity.

Right now, I'd have to say the roads are premo for riding and putting in some base miles for this summer.  Go ride your bike...
