As you sidehill along, there are several creek crossing in dark, cool forest canopies which is great on a hot day. Oh, and there are more great views.

Sidehill Trail Ride Report
As I stated in the previous post, trails are opening up around 6 weeks ahead of schedule. So, last weekend we headed on up to hit the Sidehill Trail. After the initial climb of 3 miles and 1,500 feet, which I always seem to shelf in the back of mind, the trails tops out at just over 4,500 feet. It is pretty much all rideable depending on your fitness and skill levels, but most will do some pushing. Great views along the way do lessen the pain.
