2021 Fatty Flurry Festival

UPDATE 1/29/21 - All Section 16 Trails groomed evening of 1/28 by 9B Trails! Hoping for a freeze tonight.

UPDATE 1/27/21 - Pineapple express is roiling back into North Idaho. Saturday looks to be a high chance of rain for most of the day. With that in mind, and trying to hit the best temps for a ride that day...GROUP RIDE AT 10AM

UPDATE 1/26/21 - Like most if the trails in North Idaho right now, the ice is thick, shiny and super slick at Section 16. We've gotten a little new snow, but trails could use a lot more...forecast looks promising for Saturday.

Year #7

Fatty Flurry Fest is a celebration of Fat Bikes in North Idaho. Obviously, things will look a little different than in years past...

Here is what we can say:

Demos - the will be NO demos this year because of restrictions

Rides - group ride will depart parking lot at 10am. If you wanna ride solo or in your own group, feel free. We'll be hanging out after with a fire and some of Jane's famous baked goods and maybe some refreshments. Swing by and say hi.

Location - "Section 16" is a newer grouping of trails located south of Bonners Ferry at the top of the "big hill." There are basically 2 loops that make a figure 8, so length is up to you. Up to 8 miles are possible with very little elevation gain. Trails are rated intermediate.

This is a "low pressure" social Fat Bike event.
